ABOUT RED ALBIZIA
L'ALBIZIA ROUGE is located in the town of Galgon, a charming village near Saint Emilion (16 km) from Bordeaux (46 km). On one level in a calm and green environment, we wanted to make this cottage a place of relaxation close to nature and conducive to rest. Decorated with charm, these three bedrooms, all with a double bed, can accommodate up to 6 people. A bathroom with Italian shower and toilet completes this set.
The main room includes a dining area, a lounge area and an open-plan kitchen equipped with a fridge with freezer section, an oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, all the small appliances for breakfast (kettle, filter coffee machine and Nespresso machine, toaster), a pressure cooker and a raclette machine.
Each room has radiators fitted with a thermostat that can be adjusted individually. A programmed pellet stove is installed in the main room.
The cottage also has a Wifi connection, flat-screen televisions, a blue-ray player, a washing machine, a drying rack, a table and an iron. .
The equipment needed for cleaning during your stay includes a vacuum cleaner, a mop and bucket set, and a broom. Toilet paper, household products and products, shower and shampoo, respectful of the environment, are provided. Duvets are available. Bed linen and towels are optional.
Without vis-à-vis, each room has a view of the garden. Outside, the cottage opens directly onto the garden. It has a terrace equipped with garden furniture allowing meals to be taken (tables and chairs) and reading (deck chairs) in the shade of the red Albizia. A barbecue is dedicated to the cottage. A car park that can accommodate up to three cars (two SUVs) is located in the immediate vicinity of the gîte.
A swimming pool 9 meters long by 4 meters wide, and 1.50 meters deep, adjoining the main house is located a few steps away. You can access freely in season and
enjoy its bucolic environment by lounging on the deckchairs made available to you.You will find all the amenities nearby (supermarkets, cinema, nautical and aquatic center, starred restaurants) and many activities in contact with nature (visits to castles and cellars, boat trips, etc.) which will brighten up your stay.
L'ENTRE DEUX
This spacious room of 25 m2 with exposed beams, includes a rosewood double bed, large in width and length. On each side is a bedside table with a light. The floor is parquet.
A comfortable three-seater sofa offers you a restful reading space.
A rug is placed in front of the sofa.
A storage cupboard, a shelf, and a flat-screen TV for receiving TNT channels complete the bedroom furniture.
A cot is also available.
THE BEIGE ROOM
This 14 m2 room, in shabby chic style, invites you to romance.
Its bed of 140 in width and 190 in length is surrounded on each side by a bedside table with a light.
An old wardrobe offers you comfortable storage space and its full-length mirror invites you to contemplate.
The parquet floor, a rattan armchair that echoes the wicker chandelier, create an atmosphere tinged with calm and serenity.
Quiet, with a view of the garden, the blue room invites you to rest under the benevolent regard of a Tahitian mama.
THE BLUE ROOM
This intimate room of 10 m2 is furnished with a wrought iron bed 140 in width by 190 in length. Its floor is parquet.
A bedside table with a contemporary style light is placed on each side of the bed. A chest of drawers completes the furniture in this bedroom.
THE LIVING ROOM
The exposed beams give this spacious room of 32 m2 a special character. It has a direct view of the surrounding landscape (garden and meadow) and is organized around three spaces (American kitchen, dining area and lounge area) which rub shoulders in perfect harmony.
AMERICAN KITCHEN
This American kitchen is made so that you can indulge in the pleasures of cooking.
It is equipped with an oven, a hob with an extractor hood, a refrigerator with a double freezer compartment and ample storage space.
Crockery with a 48-piece service, glasses for all uses, cutlery and all the necessary kitchen utensils are present.
You will also find all the essential household appliances for successful breakfasts; and more, with a raclette machine, a pressure cooker, an electric mixer, a table scale at your disposal.
THE DINING AREA
A very beautiful industrial style table allows you to take your meals in a friendly atmosphere.
Six black chairs with a fabric seat are arranged around it.
A children's chair is also available if necessary.
A dresser completes this dining area and a pellet stove close to it provides a pleasant ambient temperature in the winter season.
THE LOUNGE CORNER
Located near the dining area, the lounge area is a warm space including a sofa, a coffee table, storage units and a flat-screen TV which provides access to all TNT channels and radio channels . Connecting to the network to the Wifi network will give you access to different platforms (Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney channels) to which you can connect with your codes if you have them.
The media package includes a Blu-Ray DVD player.
A set of DVDs is available free of charge, on request, from a list of more than 160 titles for children and more than 130 for older people.
A connected speaker is also available. You will find games for children and adults alike.
THE BATHROOM
The bathroom is organized around a beautiful walk-in shower and a polished concrete basin, overhung by a mirror lit by two light points, and placed on a piece of furniture with two drawers. A baby bath is available if needed.
A wrought iron shelf completes the set. Bath towels provided free of charge for each occupant will be placed there upon your arrival.
The bathroom is equipped with a heated towel rack and a discreetly placed hook behind the door. A shower gel is offered as a welcome product. A washing machine installed in the bathroom is at your disposal.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast and meals
A filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine, a toaster and a kettle are at your disposal for a successful breakfast.
The dining area located in the main room is organized around an industrial table (wood and metal) and six chairs.
A baby or toddler chair is available
Meals can also be taken outside on the terrace of the gîte. A barbecue is available free of charge.

The cottage is made available in an impeccable state of cleanliness. Cleaning during the stay is the responsibility of the tenants who have all the equipment and all the necessary products for this.
End of stay cleaning is carried out by us and is billed at the time of booking.
The media
Two televisions are installed in the gîte. The first in the largest chamber; the second in the lounge area with a blu-ray player.
You can choose the films you want to see from a list of more than 300 titles that we make available to you free of charge on request.

Visit of the wine cellars
A few minutes from the gîte, you will immerse yourself in the discovery of prestigious wine-growing territories with the appellations of Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol and a little further east that of Saint-Emilion, which in his time Louis XIV described as "Nectar des Gods".
You will also not be far from the vineyards of Entre-deux-Mers, a region rich in wines as well as an important historical heritage, and those of Fronsadais with the Fronsac and Canon Fronsac appellations contain lesser known but high quality.

You will find many leisure activities with in particular the nautical center of Daguets and its beach but also a few minutes away the aquatic center of Calinesie which will delight young and old.
You can also discover fun activities such as a cruise on the Dordogne between Libourne and Vayre, cycling on rails in Guitres and many other things in contact with nature and in a family and relaxed atmosphere.

What you need to know to book

The price
The cottage is rented for a maximum of 6 people. The base price is €130 per night. Beyond 4 people, it is increased by 15 € per person. For stays of 7 nights, the price is fixed at €900 for 4 people and €1,000 for 5 and 6 people.
Prices are subject to change depending on the season. We will confirm them when you contact us.
End of stay cleaning costs are charged at the rate of 100 €.

Rent lease
If the gîte is available on the desired dates, we will send you your rental contract.
It should be returned to us by mail signed and accompanied by a check corresponding to 50% of the amount of the stay, confirming the sending by email.
Your reservation will become final upon receipt of the signed contract and deposit check.

We confirm your reservation by email upon receipt of the signed contract and the deposit check. Your reservation is final.

Cancel your reservation
You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 15 days before your arrival. Beyond that, 50% of the amount of the stay will be due.

Balance settlement
The payment of the balance is made on site at the entrance to the premises. A deposit check of €500 will also be requested.
